Two Filipinos face a United Arab Emirates court over an alleged child molestation case.
One of the two pleaded guilty to aiding the other for luring a seven-year-old Kenyan boy to their house and showing him pornographic images on a mobile phone. One of them later molested the boy.
“I went out to search for my boy who was playing outside. The maid called me at 9.15pm and told me that my son had returned home. When I asked him why he was late, he remained silent. Then he cried … when I insisted on him speaking, he claimed to me to that the cleaners molested him. He alleged to me that the suspects took him to a room where they showed him images of naked women and one of them touched him indecently,” the mother claimed.
The other one, meanwhile, denied the accusations. “I did not molest the boy … I am not guilty, ”Presiding judge Urfan Omar is expected to issue a ruling on June 17.
