A concerned netizen criticized the Philippine government agencies in Riyadh for their non-action on an overseas Filipino worker’s pleas.

Said concerned netizen is a Lee Canete who posted on Facebook photos of a female OFW showing a huge bruise on her leg.

Canete said the OFW’s name is Michelle. She was rushed to the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh after being physically abused by her employer. However, the embassy has not yet subjected her to a medical examination.

Canete said Michelle has been with her employee for nine months, yet her employers only pay her 300 SR (PHP 3,800).

A netizen in the comments section divulged that Michelle’s employers were a policeman and a doctor. Sometimes they would make her work naked.

A concerned Saudi couple brought Michelle to the embassy, where she is currently staying in Bahay Kalinga.
