Philippine government repatriates more than 300 Filipinos from Qatar
The Philippine government, under the leadership of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, and through the efforts of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Embassy in Qatar, mounts a chartered flight for the repatriation of more than 300 Filipinos from Qatar with the help of Philippine Airlines.

This would not have been possible without the cooperation and support of the Qatari government. The Embassy / POLO expresses its sincere gratitude to His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and its Search and Follow Up Department, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, the Hamad International Airport, and Qatar Airways for their invaluable assistance.
