A mother who previously worked as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) asked the help of Raffy Tulfo to rescue her 15-year-old daughter who eloped with her 30-year-old boyfriend.
Estella But-ay was looking for her minor daughter who eloped with her boyfriend whom she just met on Facebook. Before her daughter went missing, they had a confrontation because of a cellphone.
It is said that Estella couldn’t afford to buy a cellphone for her daughter because of the pandemic. Estella was also not able to return to Malaysia because she wants to be with her daughter at her graduation.
But her daughter, Samantha Nicole But-ay Remonde really wanted to have a cellphone so she can do vlogging. And before Samantha went missing, they had a confrontation with her mother because Samatha got a new cellphone even though her mother didn’t purchase one.
Samantha was with her boyfriend Ritchie Diaz Piasan and they hid together when Samantha’s mother keep on looking for her.
When Estella asked the help of Raffy Tulfo, it was only then that Samantha was returned to the DSWD. The scene when the mother and daughter finally met was truly heartbreaking.
