[VIDEO] Stolen items from NAIA passengers’ baggage continue

The passengers in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) continue to complain about their items being stolen from their baggage.

One passenger came from Taiwan early in the morning and had noticed her bag had been slashed. She found out that the news she had bought were gone.

Meanwhile, a husband and wife balikbayan from America discovered their balikbayan box had been opened when they claimed it at the baggage counter. The box was supposed to contain gifts for their family and friends.

Manila International Airport does not deny that incidents of baggage theft happens in NAIA. However, they insisted that the theft happens in the hands of the baggage handlers. Therefore, the theft is the responsibility of the airline, and not the airport.

Should there be any incidences of theft, MIA encourages the passengers to file a formal complaint to the airline.
