Saudi Arabia needs 2,000 Filipino doctors, nurses

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia is in urgent need of 2,000 Filipino doctors and nurses. They need doctors in all medical specialties to be deployed in the different Saudi regions.

Doctors should not be more than 50 years old, must be a BS graduate, must have passed the board exams, and must have at least two years of related experience. They will get a salary between SAR 4,600 (PhP59,000) and SAR 42,200 (PhP537,000), depending on their job description and qualifications. They will also receive free accommodation, transportation allowance, and return air ticket.

Nurses should not be more than 40 years old, must be a BS graduate, must have passed the board exam and prometric exams, must have a Saudi Council certificate, and must have a minimum of three years related experience. They will get a salary between SAR 4,110 (PhP52,000) plus SAR 295 (PhP3,760) increment. They will also receive free food and accommodation, paid annual vacation, and a free round-trip ticket.

Qualified applications should register online at www.poea.gov.ph or www.eregister.poea.gov.ph and personally submit their documentary requirements at the Manpower Registry Division of the Blas F. Ople Building in Ortigas Ave. cor. EDSA, Mandaluyong City.
