Lukas Janisch is named as the grand champion of The Voice Kids Germany 2016. The 13-year-old Filipino-Austrian contestant won the title after receiving the highest percentage of public votes during the finale on Friday, March 25, 2016.
His family—father, mother and little sister–accompanied him during his audition.
Aside from the piano, Janisch also recently started learning to play the guitar. According to “The Voice Kids Germany” website, Janisch’s favorite performer is Beyonce.
Janisch’s family lives in Fürstenfeld, Austria based on his mother’s Facebook page. His mother, Maricar, is said to be from Leyte, Philippines.
Lukas Janisch took home the grand prize including a training worth 15,000 euros and a record deale.
