QUEZON CITY, Manila – Household help caught maltreating a baby, through a CCTV footage.
Lyka went out to see her mother in her office. She left their children in the hands of their houseboy named Caloy who’s working with them still for 2 weeks. Luckily, through an online app, Lyka still manages to see the happenings inside their house even though she’s away. She was also able to install a CCTV device at home.
In the video, Lyka was so shocked to see Caloy in the video notching the ear of the child. The child obviously got hurt and cried a lot. Caloy was not contented and grabbed the hair of the child. He then stood up and threw the child up in the air not just once but 13 times. It seems like the child got dizzy and stopped crying. Later on, Caloy went near the CCTV and tried to see if it is actually working.
After seeing the incident, Lyka directly went home and confronted Caloy. She then tried to bring Caloy to the Barangay and discovered something more intriguing. Caloy said that he is also 20 years old, yet she discovered that Caloy is still 17 years old. Caloy asked for forgiveness upon his acts.
The Barangay council advised Lyka to let her next household help obtain NBI and Police clearance. After the incident, the Barangay said that Caloy is also a victim of this incident because he was illegally recruited for the job.
