There is another modus emerging in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), this time in its 7-Eleven store in Terminal 3.

A certain Jan Di posted her story in her Facebook, later reposted in the Facebook page Proud Pinoy. It has earned 101 angry reactions and 76 shares.

Jan Di was waiting for her father to arrive in the passenger’s area at 4a.m. when she decided to have coffee. While she was lining up with her coffee and donut, she couldn’t help but overhear the argument between the customer in front of her and short-haired Cashier 1.

According to the customer, she gave the cashier P200, but Cashier 1 claimed the customer only gave her P100. The customer demanded they look at the CCTV cameras, but Cashier 1 refused.

The argument lasted for three more minutes until Cashier 1 reluctantly gave the right change.

When it was Jan Di’s turn to pay, she ended up on Cashier 1’s aisle. She handed her P1,000. Cashier 1 asked for P2, which she gave.

Jan Di found it strange that she was handed change without being counted in front of her and no receipt being handed to her. When she counted her money, the total amounted to P770. The total bill was P32, of which she paid P1,002. In short, her change should be P970, and she still was not given P200.

Cashier 1 insisted she gave P970, but Jan Di was adamant, laying down her wallet, her cell phone, and her items. Cashier 1 conceded, reluctantly again, and almost violently gave Jan Di’s change and receipt.

After eating, Jan Di decided to go back to the store and take a picture of the cashiers.

Cashier 1 tried to hide her face, but to no avail. Her face is now all over social media.

Jan Di warns everyone to count their change before leaving the counter.
