There will be no more Overseas Filipino Workers in the next generation – these are the words of President Rodrigo Duterte in his recent official visit in Japan.
In front of the entire Filipino community, President Duterte repeated his previous promise during the election period – that is to improve the economy of the Philippines for the future generation.
He also wanted the Filipino people to only have vacation outside the country instead of working there. In his 3-day official visit to Japan, he aims to seek sustainment and enhancement of the economic ties of Philippines and Japan.
He also wants to render his heartfelt thanks to Japan for the pre-eminent and unending support of Japan to the Philippines’ development. Furthermore, he wanted to strengthen the ties that will benefit the entire Philippines.
