As another year unfolds, the famous Nostradamus has terrifying prophecies that we should look forward this coming year. Michael de Nostredame, or Nostradamus, is a French philosopher from the 16th century. He allegedly predicted some famous historical events such as Donald Trump’s victory as the President of United States, the 9/11 bombing incident and Hitler’s rise. For this upcoming year, followers of Nostradamus tried to look back on his writings to see some of his predictions this 2017.

- China To Cure Economic Crisis
China will do something to cure the world’s economic imbalance. This move, according to Nostradamus, will succeed.
- No More Cloud Computing
Cloud Computing will decline this 2017. The word ‘cloud’ in ‘cloud computing’ will disappear because it is said that most computers will be done above the clouds.
- Financial Hardship in Italy
The Italian banking system will face serious problems and will become the center of EU financial crisis.
- Worsening of Global Warming
Nostradamus predicted that by 2017, there will be a worsening global warming despite all the efforts to minimize it. In the future, terrorists will also be a great threat.
- Redefinition for Latin America
The government will set up potential civil unrest and will back out from the policies of other parties.
- Superpower Sclerosis
America, which is the current superpower, will face political corruption, ideological polarization and inequality. They will become incompetent and ungovernable.
- Increased Solar Power Usage
This 2017, Nostradamus predicted a wide increase of the use of solar technologies so as to minimize the energy costs and climate change.
- More Space Travels
Space travels will become a sure hit! For the next two years, moon mining missions and asteroids are the next target.
- Agreement of Russia and Ukraine
Expect to hear about Russia and Ukraine’s agreement this coming 2017. The terms of agreement won’t be that clear but Germany and EU member will accept it. Though United States will strongly oppose this.
