OFW in Jordan suffered multiple burns all over her body after she was poured with hot tea by her employer. Worst, her agency won’t lend a helping hand because they refused to believe her statement.

A certain Marjorie Manalac pleads for help as she was maltreated by her employer. According to the OFW, without hesitation, the lady employer poured hot tea into her and she was smashed with different hard object just with simple mistakes.

Upon the incident, she reached for help from her agency but they refused to believe her. Instead, the agency chose to believe the employer who stated that the burns were caused accidently. Now, her employer is threatening to kill her if she ever tries to reach for help again.

Fearing her safety, Manalac seeked for help. She only wants to go back home to her family in the Philippines.
Through the help of Marissa Cruz of OWWA, who promised to help Manalac, the maltreated OFW will soon get rescued from her employer.
