Pitiful Situation of an OFW in Kuwait Sent To Jail By Employer

Another Overseas Filipino Worker in Kuwait desperately needs help. Her employer sent her to prison due to unknown reason.

A Facebook post is taking rounds online as netizens believed that sharing the photo will help reach the responsible government agencies.

Bhaie Mangilen Bairoslanor is currently imprisoned in a jail in Ommariya Kuwait. In the photo, it can be seen that she was left alone in the corner of the alleged jail. It is also said that there are other inmates inside the cell but they were already released, leaving Bairoslanor all alone.

There is not exact info as to the reason why the OFW was imprisoned.

However, the Philippine Embassy needs to look at her case and assess the situation so they can extend any available help.

Being away from your family in the Philippines is already very hard. Yet the pain and sufferings are doubled once you land in an abusive employer. You can’t escape that easily because they will try their best to manipulate you.

Just like this OFW. It is still not clear if she really committed a crime punishable by law, yet she is there, suffering all alone.

Netizens expressed their sadness and compassion towards the distressed OFW.

“dapat ipasa n ang bill n travel ban going to middle east or ban n ang middle east country to hire a domestic helper from pinas…yan lng tlga ang pinaka effective wat to solve so many cases of abused OFW in the middle east,” said Facebook user Kathy Sheena Ramos.
