Because of too much drunkenness, a Filipina in Hong Kong fell into the pavement of the Exchange Square podium. She acquired a head injury following the incident.

According to police records, a 999 call was received at around 5:27 pm. It was reported that a non-ethnic Chinese fell onto a pavement and injured herself. In the woman’s HKID, it is stated that she is a domestic worker.
The policemen immediately responded to the scene and found a woman lying on the ground, with a bleeding head but conscious. The patient was taken to the Queen Mary Hospital.
Investigators confirmed that the woman collapsed because of being too drunk. According to other people’s testimony, the Filipina was sitting at a bench after being left by her friends. She managed to stand up but slipped and fell down.
Other accounts also confirmed that the woman had been drinking with four other women for hours. But her friends left early and she was left resting along on the bench.
