A mother’s love for her children is unconditional. In return, their kids treasure them so much that they are willing to go to depths to spare their mother from pain and hardships.
In this Facebook post by a certain Richard Mil Salazar Sabado, he was able to show what he is willing to do just to help his mother obtain her last wish.
Chad described his mother as a ‘strong and courageous woman.” She is also known as a selfless person and prefers to think of others more than herself.
However, her faith was tested when she got ill and was rushed to the Latifa Dubai Hospital. Chad’s mother suffered extreme ‘abdominal pain that includes bleeding.” Just one day after getting confined to the hospital, she was taken to the ICU unit of the hospital because her condition worsened.
“It was only then that I found out that my mom has stage 4 cancer in the uterus. I was devastated. I rushed and arrived here yesterday to be with her and take care of her. The doctor spoke to me about their findings, and, I was even more shattered to find out that cancer already is at its late stage as it has already spread through her lungs, kidney, and bones,” Chad said.
What Chad’s mother wants is to return to the Philippines and be with her family and relatives.
“She also wants to go home so badly. I know she is fighting, and we are doing the best we can so she can spend more time with us,” he said.
Chad is asking for financial help because they cannot leave the hospital without paying the mounting hospital bills that were accumulated during her stay in the hospital.
“Our hospital bill is spiking every day and we won’t be able to bring her home if we will not be able to settle the balance. Any amount you could spare will be very much appreciated,” says Chad.
