There are only two ways Overseas Filipino Workers can return to the Philippines after working tirelessly abroad. It’s either they bring a ‘balikbayan box’ containing all the pasalubong they have for their loved ones; or return home inside a box, lifeless and unable to see their family.
Unfortunately, the latter was the fate of OFW Glenny Agbuya Bustamante. She worked in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The OFW passed away due to a car accident.
OWWA helps the bereaved family of Bustamante when it comes to the necessary documents for the immediate repatriation of her remains.
