Hong Kong raises minimum wage and food allowance of household workers

Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong have a reason to celebrate. The country has raised its minimum wage and food allowance for its household workers.

Starting October, household workers in Hong Kong will receive at least HKD 4,210 or at least PhP 25,000 per month.

This is a huge increase from the HKD 964 or PhP5,700 allowance last year.
