It’s not unusual for Filipinos to fall into the charms of foreigners who promise them a better life outside the Philippines, only to fall for scams.
Raffy Tulfo uncovers one of these scams through a Korean man, Mr. Park, who scams a Filipina into marrying her so that he can make her his household worker.
The said victim was Annie, who married Mr. Park in 2013 after he promised her a good life in South Korea.
However, upon arrival in Korea, Mr. Park instantly turned Annie to a maid. It turns out that Mr. Park married her so he can have a “slave.”
Tulfo discovers Mr. Park also running the same scam to some innocent Filipinas, promising them that their future husband will pay for whatever they need.
Upon capture on April 2015, Annie angrily confronts Mr. Park after subjecting her to maltreatment.
Mr. Park’s case has been ongoing for eight months. Nicole, another victim, says they are confident they can put him behind bars due to their numerous evidence at hand.
Meanwhile, Annie started her new life as an office staff in a company, while Nicole is busy with her small store.
