As the incident of abuse of Overseas Filipino Workers are fast rising, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has released a list of status of recruitment agencies as of February 17, 2017. This is to avoid hiring fake, cancelled or suspended agencies by POEA.
This list is to ensure that the public knows the status of their agencies so they won’t get victimized by illegal recruitments or be sent abroad without proper documentation and protection. All individuals aspiring to work abroad through agencies should check this list beforehand to avoid future problems.
