It is the dream of every OFW to settle down and go back to the Philippines with enough savings and investment for the family. But not everyone is lucky enough to find the perfect job with high compensation. Most OFWs settle into saving remittance receipt since most of their hard-earned money go to their family in the Philippines.

It is very common to see OFWs falling in line in all those remittance centers just to send money to their families in the Philippines. Unknown to everybody, there’s more story to tell than the common scene in a remittance center.

An OFW shared a photo on Facebook and it is quite amusing. The certain OFW who was not identified by name saved all the remittance receipt for the past six years of working abroad. The OFW then asked if he/she can stay in the Philippines for good.

It was the question that every OFW have in mind; “When is the perfect time to stay in the Philippines for good?”

If remittance receipt were the only investment he/she have for all those years of hard work, then settling down in the Philippines is still far from sight.
