A Filipina domestic helper in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) lost her life after falling from a building. However, her family in the Philippines thinks that something is fishy.
Mary Jean Alberto fell from the 13th floor of a building of her employer’s flat. The remains of Alberto was taken to the Sheikh Khalifa Hospital and was left there since October 2.
The incident happened at Shams Meera Tower Al Reem in Abu Dhabi and the Philippine Embassy is investigating the incident.
As for the family of Alberto, they believe that a foul play surrounds the OFW’s passing. They are hoping for justice to prevail. They couldn’t help but think that the OFW was pushed by her employer, contrary to the belief that Alberto took her own life.
Her family recalls the complaints of Mary Jean against her employer’s bad treatment towards her. She even asked for help from her relatives before the heartbreaking incident happened.
It was only three months when Mary Jean started working in the United Arab Emirates.
