A Filipina woman is on trial after she was accused of dumping her newborn baby inside a garbage bin in UAE and having an affair with a man, a huge violation against the UAE law.
At first, it was reported that the Filipina allegedly performed illegal malicious acts with two unidentified men before she delivered her baby. The two men who she was with that day helped her in dumping the baby into the garbage bin.
Soon, as the baby was discovered inside the bin, Dubai police were notified and went to Al Barahah, Deira where the baby was found.
Police were able to identify a Pakistani man who allegedly dumped the poor baby inside the garbage bin.
“He admitted that the mother and her Filipina friend gave him the dead baby wrapped in clothes inside a plastic bag, and he then rode to Deira on his motorbike for a delivery, saw a large bin, threw the bag and left,” says the police.
The 35-year-old mother was soon arrested as well as her 50-year old friend who connived in doing the crime. The mother admitted that the baby was conceived after she shared a bed with a man who remains unidentified.
“Two women helped me deliver the baby inside my room in Al Satwa. After giving birth to a without life child, I planned to dump the baby with the help of the third defendant,” says the Filipina mother.
“My friend cleaned the baby, put it in a bag and handed it over to the third defendant.”
The accused were charged with illegally disposing of the expired body of a child. Trial still ongoing.
