Employer Forces OFW With Wounds and Bruises All Over Her Body To Still Work Following a Car Accident

Through social media, an OFW appealed for help from the public so she can return to the Philippines and be with her family.

In a Facebook post, Prudencia Maglinao narrated her situation after experiencing a car accident while working as a domestic worker in Saudi Arabia. She suffered torn lips and her head needs to be stitched following the accident.

Now, Prudencia is asking for help because she wants to return to the Philippines but her agency refuses to help. The OFW said that she cannot work anymore because she sustained serious wounds from the accident.

According to the OFW, she is taking care of six children and couldn’t even take a decent rest every day. Her employer promised that they will allow her to return to the Philippines two weeks after the accident but they got back from their words. They still want the OFW to care for their children despite her current situation.

Raffy Tulfo promised to help the OFW and get her from her current employer. It also came to light that Prudencia was sold by her previous employer to her employer right now. OWWA administrator Hans Leo Cacdac ensures that she will rescue the OFW as soon as possible.
