Nowadays, an employer who treats you kindly is considered a huge blessing. We’ve all seen domestic helpers being treated like they are not humans but punching bags. Others are maltreated psychologically as they are degraded by their employers. It’s painful to see such instances.
However, let’s not forget that not all employers are the same. There are still those who are kind and not manipulating. Employers treat their domestic workers as though they are already part of their family.
In a TikTok video which was posted by a netizen on Facebook, it shows that a man which appears to be the employer is handing over some food to his kids and to a Filipina domestic helper. They are also eating at one table, something that’s rarely seen.
Netizens were couldn’t help but feel envy for the Filipina who was treated kindly by her employer. The netizen who posted the video captioned it, “MashaAllah ganito amo ko saken [heart emojis] swerte mo pag ganito amo mo.”
Others also commended the kind-hearted employer by saying that they also hope to have such an employer.
