Vacationing Family to the Philippines Encounters A Nightmare Upon Arrival As their 9 Luggage Went Missing

A family traveling to the Philippines thought that they will purely have enjoyment and fun in the country. However, they were greeted otherwise.

Stanton Anne posted on Facebook the encounter they had when they arrived in the Philippines together with her husband and son, tagging the travel as ‘business and pleasure’.

According to Anne, the first incident happened when their supposed 28 hours travel time from Florida, turned out to be 35 hours. The family checked in a total of 9 pieces of luggage, but to their dismay, they didn’t receive any of these luggages upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. They rode two airlines –American Airlines and Qatar Airlines.

Feeling tired from the travel, they were forced to leave the airport, without any personal belongings and proceeded to their hotel room. They even had to go to the mall to buy some necessities because their bags were not with them.

After 2 days, Qatar Airways reached out to them to inform them that their 8 missing bags were finally found. But one luggage remained missing. They went and got their luggage only to be greeted with another misfortune.

They found out that their lugagges were torn apart and obviously opened. The locks of the luggage were also changed. Physically, it’s obvious that their luggage was not handled properly as there are damages on each bag.

Moreover, the missing bag contains all the pasalubong they have for their family in the Philippines, costing them about $5,000 to $7,000, which remains to be located.

Despite the incident, the family was grateful that they had a safe trip and they hope to locate the one missing luggage as soon as possible.
