Love that turned out to be a nightmare. That’s the painful experience of an OFW in Hong Kong.
Melissa, not her real name, met her boyfriend in an online dating site. She thought that she already found her Mr. Right. Because of love, she sent some nude photos to the guy. At first, the guy seems to be totally serious with her. But all her expectations shattered after her boyfriend started to threaten her about posting nude photos online.
At first, the guy asked for P7,000 so he won’t post the photos online. He again demanded for P15,000. Her boyfriend even wants to have money sent to him monthly. That’s the time Melissa decided to go back to the Philippines to ask for help.
She reported it to NBI and the officers are quick to in providing justice for Melissa. Her boyfriend was caught in an entrapment operation in NAIA terminal 3. Their first meeting became a nightmare.
According to her boyfriend, he just don’t want to lose Melissa which is why she decided to threaten her. On the other hand, Melissa tearfully confessed that she loved him wholeheartedly and even gave him nude photos just for his satisfaction.
The authorities got his phone containing nude photos of Melissa and three other sim cards were taken from his possession arising to the idea that it might be his modus, to threaten anyone with their nude photos.
The suspect is now facing Rubbery Extortion and violence against women and children. Other cases are set to be filed against him.
