Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) launched their powerful app that lets Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) from all over the world pay their membership fee through the use of their smartphones.
This app will allow members situated in countries without OWWA office to pay their biannual membership amounting to $25, fast and hassle-free.
According to DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III, this move aims to deliver their commitment in providing “quality services to the Filipino migrant workers.”
“Our modern-day heroes deserve more than salutations, but government initiatives to ensure their welfare while they sacrifice for their families and for the country,” statement of Bello during the Migrant Workers Day which was celebrated last week in Pasay.

This mobile application also gives its users the ability to check employment contract information, membership status, payment histories as well as names of beneficiaries of each member.
Aside from that, this OWWA app allows you to know important OWWA services including death benefits, disability and dismemberment benefits. Programs launched by OWWA like OFW Enterprise Development and Loan program can also be viewed here.
This mobile app is free of charge and is available on Google Playstore for android-operated mobile phones.
