Zark Espina Varona is the man who offered innovative burgers in the Philippines and the owner of the famous Zark’s Burger.
But before Varona hit the market with his delicious burgers, he was an Overseas Filipino Worker who works as a cook in a cruise.
After he graduated from the Philippine Women’s University and took up Hotel and Restaurant Management, Varona, at the age of 21 applied as a seafarer at Carnival Cruise Lines.
He admitted that even if it was to his advantage that he became an OFW at a young age, it was quite hard for him to be away from his family while working abroad.
However, he said that when it comes to work, it was never an issue then as he really loves what he do best—–to cook!
It was just last August 28 when his business made headlines when his famous burger excites everyone to taste for themselves his yummy burger priced for only P8. – via The Filipino Times
