8 Houses Burned in Taguig City, Fire Out after 3 Hours

More than 8 houses were eaten by fire in Taguig City which started around 11 o’clock, Saturday night.

ABS-CBN reported total fire out at the break of dawn, 2 am this morning.

According to residents, they heard a commotion in the neighborhood and discovered that a house was beginning to be eaten by fire. Fire spread easily and rapidly as house were built close to each other, made of light materials which are easily burned.

Firemen from the nearby city also helped to stop the fire.

At first, the firemen had a difficult time passing through the narrow streets.  Succeeding with their task, the fire was declared out by 2 am of Sunday.

The Bureau of Fire Protection are still investigating the cause of the fire and the extent of damage to the properties of the residents.

Summer is the season where many fire incidences had been reported.  It is then a must that every household checks on their electric cables, LPGs and other possible cause of putting up a fire.
