A Filipina domestic helper is appealing for help for another Overseas Filipina Worker (OFW) who was being treated badly by her employer and stays in Saudi Arabia without proper documentation.
According to the post, aside from the physical injuries that she acquired from her employer, the OFW is also overstaying in Saudi Arabia for 3 years.
Several pictures were posted on Facebook showing the kind of life that she had to go through every single day, in the hands of her bad treating employer. Her forehead and eyes had bruises. There’s also one phot showing her nose with blood.
The OFW was identified as Faridah Usman Macaraya, a resident of Lanao Del Sur. The 28-year-old Filipina works as a domestic helper to Ali Ayed Algarni in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her recruitment agency in Saudi Arabia is Riyadh Economy Recruitment Office located at Takhassusi St. Dallah Driving School.
The Facebook user appeals for help as soon as possible before she gets sent to another employer. When that happens, it will be hard to locate her location and we will lose track of her.
For the past few months, Saudi Arabia is always on the news particularly about the bad treatment of employers towards their domestic helpers. Though the government is trying their best to curb such activities, there are still a lot of OFWs suffering in Saudi Arabia.
