Another Filipino frontliner in the battle against COVID-19 succumbed to the disease in Kuwait.
The passing of Robert Taboada shocked a lot of her friends, colleagues, and family members as it was too sudden and soon.
In a Facebook post, Ejet Ramos shared how devastated he is after losing ‘one of the jolliest person’ he ever knew.
According to Ramos, they worked in the same hospital. He last saw Taboada when they were about to take a swab test for COVID-19. Because it was forbidden to have close contact with each other, they just waved their hands to say hello. Never did he thought that it will be the last time that he will see his friend.
Taboada works as a nurse in one of the hospitals in Kuwait. He was remembered as a kind-hearted person, someone who always smiles despite the toxic environment that surrounds him.
“And di nakakalimot kumustahin ang mga anak ko basta magkakasalubong kami sa hospital,” says Ramos.
The OFW also sent his deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Taboada who will never see him again and we’re not there with him before he died.
“Rest in Peace Robert. And my deepest condolences sa buong pamilya, i know, no words can comfort you at this time , but we are sure that he will be in heaven, because he touched so many lives,” says Ramos.
