Throughout the process of investigation, it was found out the 7 of the detained workers were victims of rampant human trafficking. The 7 women confessed that they were deceived into working in the said premises without proper consent.

The case is under the Anti-Trafficking Law of 2007. The raid was done due to the information given to the local authorities about the entertainment premises. The illegal activity has been going on for a while now despite the constant warning on the manager and even to the owner of the premises.

There are certain laws and regulations when hiring workers from other countries. The government of Malaysia is conducting stern actions for violators.
