HONG KONG – A stern reminder from POWA ASSO goes on for all Overseas Filipino Workers in Hong Kong NOT to sell products in social media sites.
This reminder is in line with the recent incident that occurred in Hong Kong wherein a fellow OFW got arrested after selling products and posting it in social media sites.
The Hong Kong Government strongly discourage this act because it is considered illegal in their country.
Furthermore, foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong are staying their because of their job and earning extra income from selling products is generally discouraged.
A lot of Filipino workers in Hong Kong does this kind of thing for years but the Government is strengthening its campaign against these activities among foreign nationals.
