Filipina in Hong Kong Relieved From Work After Being Involved In A Networking Business

A Filipina working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong never thought that her employment will get sacrificed just by joining a networking business.

According to Hong Kong Attache, Hermogenes Cayabyab Jr., the employer saw her laptop and discovered that she is recruiting for the networking business she is in. Instantly, she was relieved from work and was reported to the Immigration Department.

The reason behind the immediate action of the employer is to avoid being involved in case she gets into trouble. It was said that the Filipina was a member of the networking business way before she worked abroad.

The Filipina from Ilocos later stayed in the shelter because she has no place to stay. On October 10, she was ordered to be sent back to the Philippines after the Immigration Department’s conclusion of possible breach of condition.

The Filipina was a first timer in Hong Kong and it was supposed-to-be her first job.

As different networking business goes out of hand in Hong Kong, more and more OFWs are getting involved to earn some extra money. Most individuals recruit through Facebook and other social media sites.

It is recalled that last February, Emgoldex was reported by several Filipino helpers over alleged fake investment scam.
