A Filipino engineer was arrested in Singapore after allegedly taking upskirt videos at the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station.
This should serve as a friendly reminder to all: do not take unauthorized pictures or recordings under the skirt of a woman as this is considered sexual harassment.
A certain Jan Benedict Mendoza Fuellas admitted to harassing a 26-year-old woman at an MRT station in Bukit Panjang and seven counts of women’s privacy intrusion, according to the Straits Times.
An MRT passenger noticed the suspicious actions of Fuellas so he alerted the woman next to him, wearing an orange dress. The 36-year-old man was instantly brought to the control center of the station.
In Fuellas’ phone, they discovered his collection of about 38 upskirt videos. These videos were properly hidden and protected with a password.
Fuellas will be put to jail for 16 weeks.
