Job opportunities in Japan for aspiring Filipinos will soon open this coming September, says the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

The said jobs are part of the technical intern training program (TITP), a new deployment scheme wherein a worker will start as a trainee.

According to POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia, it is expected that they can get the job order this coming September for those qualified Filipinos.

“It will run into thousands, especially because Japan will host the Tokyo Olympics. They will need a lot of workers,” says Olalia.

There are about 77 kinds of jobs that are needed in the TITP such as caregiving, textile and machinery, and construction, as confirmed by the POEA.

The expected salary is also good under the TITP. For instance, caregivers will be given a monthly salary of ¥160,000 or approximately PhP70,000.

However, POEA would like to remind those individuals who wish to apply. They need to pass the language exam first.

POEA also reminded those who are interested to apply that after their contract, they are required to return to the country.

This is because the concept of this agreement between Japan and the Philippines is to teach trainees new ideas that they can use when they return to the Philippines.

Despite that, this is a great opportunity for those who want to earn a decent amount of cash until their contract expires.

After that, they can return to the Philippines, start their own business and grow it with the help of the training that will be taught to them in Japan.
