Most of the time, Filipinos working abroad are the ones who are helping one another to cope with the foreign environment they are in.
For cases of abuse and maltreatment of foreign employers, kababayan are always there to lend a helping hand. They provide as much help as possible that each other can stay safe and sound in a foreign land.
However, there are still rare cases of misunderstanding towards kababayans abroad that often leads to police settlement and arrest. Most of these cases involve money.
A video becomes viral online because of alleged money issues towards a Filipina in Hong Kong.
In the video, women can be heard booing another woman which can be seen holding her mobile phone, calling someone.
It turns out that she was calling the police.
Other women can be heard yelling because the woman who called the police refused to pay after a pedicure service rendered by another Filipina in the area.
At first, the Filipina tried to bid for a lower price of the service. The other woman who did the pedicure service refused her demands but she got agitated and even called the police.
Other Filipino in the area were disappointed because they are both Filipina, who are both trying to learn a living abroad for their family in the Philippines.
They thought that she was just finding a way to escape because she has no money to pay for the pedicure service
