Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Regional Welfare Office-National Capital Region (OWWA RWO-NCR) awards livelihood assistance to 31 Overseas Filipino Workers under the reintegration programs of the OWWA- National Reintegration Center for OFWs (OWWA-NRCO) during the Info Caravan on Reintegration on 30 August 2022 at the Aloha Hotel in Manila.
The 20 OFW-beneficiaries under the Balik Pinay Balik Hanapbuhay Program received Php 10,000.00 each. Moreover, 11 OFW-beneficiaries of the Livelihood Development Assistance Program (LDAP) also received the same amount each.
OWWA Administrator Arnaldo A. Ignacio graced the event and provided tips on how to handle their businesses and how to manage their finances. He encouraged the recipients of the livelihood assistance to be thrifty and rather focus on their goals. “You treat your money as if it’s not an addition to what you’re going to be spending today”.
