As the leading Presidential candidate in the latest quick count performed by COMELEC, Rodirgo Duterte claims the promises he has made to the public when it comes to eradicating drugs within a span of 3 to 6 months. To start with that, one of his presumed cabinet members are asking for a list of Drug personalities in Western Visayas by the tasked government agency, PDEA.

According to the Regional Director of PDEA-6, Paul Ledesma, a list of personalities was requested by presumed Duterte’s cabinet was sent to him in line with the eager promise of Duterte to eliminate and eradicate drugs as soon as he assume the highest position in the Republic of the Philippines. He is said to be eyeing the Western Visayas Region first (Negros Occidental, Iloilo, Aklan, Antique, Capiz and Guimaras).
He also would like a implement a similar ordinance in Davao City to the entire country – the liquor ban from 1 am until 6 am. This is to protect the workforce of the restaurant staffs and customers who is still going to work the next day.

Peter Lavina, Duterte’s spokesperson, emphasized that this soon implemented ordinance has nothing to do with the people’s freedom because everyone can still drink liquor as long as they stay in their houses during the curfew. Some businessmen sees this ordinance as something totally unfair but to Duterte, it’s a way to curb off criminality.
