The Senate Bill 1282 was proposed by Senator Joel Villanueva, The Bill was exclusive hospital for OFW and their dependents for free.
Villanueva believed that it’s time to return what a modern hero as OFW who keep sending remittance in our country.
According to the survey on 2015 from April 1 to September 30, 2015 OFWs remittance total is PHP 180.3 million and the total OFWs around the world 2.4 millions

The hospital will be called “Bagong Bayani Filipino Hospital”, and will be managed by (OWWA) Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
The hospital can accept 50 patients per ward.
