A Filipino in the United Arab Emirates won big at a raffle held in the country.
Roland Baltazar works as a delivery rider and resides in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Luck was in his hand when he became the lucky winner of a raffle in Dubai. He became an instant millionaire.

Baltazar, 38, was one of the winners of the AED1,000,000 (PhP13,000,000) each during the 27th weekly Mahzooz draw. According to him, it was his dream to win in one of the raffle draws in UAE because he joined various draws ever since he went to Dubai 10 years ago.
“I’ve been participating in the draw from day one and I never lost hope,” says Roland who is a delivery rider at a cake shop in the Emirate.
“I never thought that I’d become a millionaire but now I know for sure that everything in life is possible,” the Filipino happily said.
According to Roland, he plans to use his prize to build a house for his family in the Philippines.
“I can finally buy land for my mother so she can build her dream home,” Roland said.
An Emirati national was the other winner in the Mahzooz draw who successfully matched five numbers and won AED1 million.
